Condescending Zealots

Okay, it has been a while. Alot has been going on. I thought I'd return to blogging anyway though.

Back when I was making religion videos on my youtube channel, I did get condescending private messages. People like to reference age when they lack a real solid arguement. It's sad really, as they don't know me nor do they know what's in my library of knowledge in my brain, or what I've read or learned over the years.

To basically give you an idea of just how much I've studied religion, I'll name the religions I've studied thus far. I'll avoid listing every individual sect, but I will do major branches instead. I just don't have the time to list them all. So here goes:

Christianity:
Protestant, Catholicism, Mormonism, Eastern Orthodox, Ethiopian Orthodox, Manichaeanism, and so many others in Gnosticism.

Islam:
Shi'a, Sunni, Sufi, and a few sects in africa I don't have the names of.

Judaism:
Reform and orthodox rabbinnic judaism, pharisee judaism (from which modern judaism is said to have sprung from), essene, sadducee, samaritan, and so many more.

Mixed abrahamic:
Manichaeanism, Mandeanism, Yezidism, Baha'i, and several pagan and abrahamic mixed religions.

Zoroastrianism:
Parsi, Zurvanism, and Mazdakism.

Hinduism:
Saivite, Vishnavi, Bhakti, and so so many others

Buddhism:
Mahayana, Zen, Tibetan and others

Shinto:
I've studied it loosely, and not much in depth, but I read the kojiki.

Taoism:
Not much in depth study, but I've studied the Dao De Jing/Tao Te Ching and a few other texts

Other East asian religions I've read into were Confucianism, Juche, Tenrikyo, Cao Dai, and a mongolian religion I forgot the name of.

I've read into Iriquois myths and legends, but not as much so into the religion.

I've read nearly all of the mythology written down of bronze and iron age Mesopotamia, and many many of the hymns and other texts. I'm very knowledgeable in their religion, as I researched it deeply while a practicing pagan.

I've studied into the Kassite, Elamite, Hurrian, and Hittite religions. I've studied into the Canaanite, Phoenician, and Cypriot religions.

I'm well read on the ancient egyptian religion and texts.

I'm very well read on the ancient greek and roman religions and texts.

I've read into the Celtic and Norse religions as well.

I've learned about sikhism and Jainism, and read about Sikhism and its holy text in depth.

I've read about the minoan religion.

I've read alot about wicca.

I've read about Thelema, Theosophy, and a bunch of modern religions. And yes, Satanism, modern and theistic.

If you think you are more well read than me, which you probably are, which is fine, demonstrate it! Don't sit there and reference the age you think I am, or the knowledge you assume that I lack. I know that you may not be interested, but I desire only intelligent informed discussion.

If there are any religions I haven't read up on, please let me know so I can expand my knowledge :-)
